Can I submit early sketches or partial information?

Yes. Early sketches, partial drawings, screenshots, samples, material notes, and rough quantity estimates can still help identify whether you need DFM support, tooling review, production-path review, or a fuller RFQ.

What details should I include?

Useful details include part drawings, CAD files, material preferences, quantities, target timing, tolerance expectations, cosmetic requirements, existing tooling notes, application context, and any known quality or documentation needs.

What file types are useful?

Useful files may include PDF drawings, STEP or STP files, DWG or DXF drawings, IGES files, zipped project packages, screenshots, photos of sample parts, and supporting notes.

Quotes and manual review

Does submitting a form create a binding quote?

No. A submission is an intake request for manual review. It does not create a binding quote, fixed price, production commitment, or obligation for either side to proceed.

How are quote requests reviewed?

Quote requests are reviewed for the information needed to understand the project: geometry, material direction, quantities, tolerances, finish expectations, tooling context, timing needs, and any special constraints.

What affects pricing and lead time?

Pricing and lead time can be affected by part geometry, material choice, tool complexity, tolerance requirements, surface finish, expected volume, sampling needs, documentation needs, and how complete the project information is.

Can I request help preparing an RFQ?
